Introduction to Beading

Learn about tools and materials. Construct basic earrings with headpins and beads. Create a bracelet on cable wire and learn how to finish with crimps. These techniques will launch you confidently into the world of bead stringing and design! Minimum age: 12.


Kids Introduction to Beading

Here’s an introduction to beading class geared toward younger beaders. Students will make a professional quality bracelet or necklace in class. Just because our students are young, doesn’t mean they have to use low quality stringing materials and techniques. By nature kids can be rougher on jewelry so, we will make bracelets or necklaces that will last! Minimum age: 8.


Intermediate Beading

Prerequisite: Introduction to Beading

You have learned the very basics in Introduction to Beading; now take it to the next level and learn how the pros do it. In this class you will construct an 18″ necklace using crimps with a crimping tool and crimp covers. You will also expand your earring making techniques by learning to wrap headpins for a more secure connection.


Just Earrings

In this class, you will make several pairs of earrings using chandelier parts, chain, and different shaped beads. Come learn all the tricks when it comes to making fancy earrings.


Beaded Chain ID Badge or Eyeglasses Holder

Looking for a more fashionable way to display your ID badge or keep track of your eyeglasses? These projects make excellent gifts for the office. You will use basic wire techniques and the wire wrapped loop to work beads into chain to create a versatile accessory for your ID badge or glasses.
