SUMMARY:Jungle Exploration (Ages 7-12)
DESCRIPTION:July 30 - August 3\, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.\n\nIn Jungle Exploration\, students will be introduced to different Central and South American cultures. We will focus on the ecosystem (rain forest)\, the importance of maintaining that ecosystem because of all of the unique and colorful creatures which live there. Students will be introduced to the unique animals\, look at local cultures and their arts and crafts\, as well as sample some of the local cuisines (which will either be prepared ahead of time or prepared as a group-recipes will be provided.) It is important to introduce children to different cultures and for them to feel invested and responsible for their earth. Jungle Exploration will provide them with this knowledge.
